Shannus Hotel and Horse Riding School is a very unique boutique eco-hotel. It is located in Pushkar- a very holy place in Rajasthan, India. The hotel and riding school are run by Mr. Marc Dansereau, a French Canadian who has been living in India for over 27 years. The ranch offers home cooked organic-vegetarian meals, huge rooms with red-brick walls, a beautiful relaxing garden setting, a meditation area, and a cafe. Shannus is not for everyone. We encourage quiet, peacefulness, and inner discovery in our ranch, and make your stay with us feel just like home. The family house located across the big garden is open for guests, and we often dine together and talk about life while looking at the star lit desert night. If you are looking for an incredible and spiritual experience, very personal hospitality and possibly horse riding adventures around the desert- we offer you an escape-oasis and a home. Since we are a small boutique with only 8 rooms, reservations are very recommended.
